It’s estimated that the average European generates 170kg of packaging waste per year, which is why we want to ensure our packaging is responsibly made and simply repurposed.

We want our products to be kind to the people and the planet, so it’s important to us that the packaging they arrive in follows the same good intentions. That’s why, as well as producing responsible products, we are committed to only using responsible packaging, too:

  • A 100% recyclable inner bag, made from certified recycled plastic
  • A 100% recyclable and recycled polythene delivery bag

These bags help to look after garments in the warehouse and protect them during delivery.

Our product tags are also responsible. They’re made from 100% Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified paper, which means they come from responsibly managed forests.

We don’t take shortcuts when it comes to our packaging. We’ve explored using oxo-degradable and biodegradable plastics, however these materials need to be properly composted and meet very specific conditions in order to break down into natural matter. It’s likely that when they’re thrown away, they will end up in landfill without the conditions needed to decompose. Our recyclable packaging helps our customers help the planet with minimal effort.

We aim for a plastic-free future at Nobody’s Child, but right now, we still rely on it to ensure the best quality control for our products.
